We are excited to announce we have recently partnered with Unilever to launch a brand new initiative: The Global Goals Accelerator.
Two of Unilever’s brand teams, Domestos and Lifebuoy, will each invest up to £25,000 (a maximum of £5k or £2.5k per project) in Enactus projects that contribute and align to the Global Goals and their individual brand objectives to support this.
The focus of the inaugural Global Goals Accelerator event will be on goal number 6- Clean Water and Sanitation. In June, Enactus project teams will be invited to ‘pitch’ their ideas to key brand leaders at Unilever’s Innovation Hub in London.
Unilever are looking for projects that support their brand objectives:
- The Domestos Social Mission: To help everyone, everywhere have a clean and safe toilet. Domestos and Unilever have committed to improving access to a toilet for 25 million people by 2020.
- The Lifebuoy Social Mission: Lifebuoy’s vision is to bring health and hygiene to people through their ‘help a child reach 5’ programme. By 2020, the Lifebuoy brand aims to change the hygiene behaviour of one billion consumers.
