Enactus aims to support young people in the UK (up to the age of 25) to engage in youth social action and youth social enterprise.
Our mission in the UK is to be recognised as a leader in developing a national network of socially-minded young leaders of the future who transform communities and society through real life social action and environmentally responsible enterprise.
We have an established University programme which has been running since 2001 and now operates in 59 Universities across the UK, engaging up to 3000 students each year.
In 2018 we are excited to be launching two further initiatives; ‘Enactus for Schools’ which will be working with students in Secondary education and ‘Enactus for Entrepreneurs’, providing support to individual looking to start their own enterprise.
ENACTUS FOR SCHOOLS
Our Enactus for Schools programme is an exciting new initiative which aims to support young people in secondary education.
We work with partner organisations to deliver youth social action and entrepreneurial training that engages them in society and develops them into responsible and social conscious young leaders.
ENACTUS FOR UNIVERSITIES
Our Enactus UK University programme is part of a global network operating in 36 countries around the world. Throughout the UK, students across 59 Universities are implementing innovative solutions to societies most challenging problems. We provide a platform for teams of outstanding University students to create sustainable solutions to society's biggest challenges.
Our work transforms both the lives of the people they serve, and in turn, the lives of our students as they develop into more effective, value-driven leaders.
ENACTUS FOR ENTREPRENEURS
Our Enactus students move into a wide variety of careers and industries upon graduating from University, some of these choose to take the practical enterprise skills they have learned during their time with Enactus to develop their own enterprise.
Our ‘Enactus for Entrepreneurs’ platform will provide support to individuals looking to start their own venture, which includes mentorship, grant-funding and office space.
