Announcing the National Expo 2019 Live Pitching Competition!

Thinking of starting your own business after graduation?

Maybe you want to take your Enactus project on as your own enterprise?

Recently graduated and looking for support for your business?

For the first time, we will be holding a live pitching event to enable the entrepreneurs of Enactus to seek support for your project / business idea.

We want to support our students/alumni to start their own enterprises after graduation. Therefore we have created an opportunity for you to pitch your enterprise and ideas as part of this year’s National Expo.

This opportunity will allow you to pitch your idea to an audience of senior executives and members of the Enactus network and seek support to help you get it off the ground and turn it into a social enterprise!

At the end of your pitch you will get the opportunity to ask the audience for the support you need such as legal advice, office space, accounting / finance / marketing support, or funding. The audience will then offer support on the spot and fill in a form so that we can connect you to the support that is offered following the day.

Tuesday 9th April

ExCeL London- this event will take place as part of the 2019 Enactus UK National Expo

In addition to your pitch on the day, you will have the opportunity to have a stall to promote your enterprise, this will allow you to talk further about your business with prospective supporters before and after the pitch.

To enter you and your enterprise must fulfil the following criteria:

  • You must be/have been a member of Enactus at University

  • You must be either a graduating student in 2019 or an alumnus who has graduated in the last two years.

  • You can enter with either an Enactus Project idea which will leave the Enactus team and become your business or your own enterprise/business idea

  • You must have proof of concept (market research/feasibility study) for your business, but you do not need to have already implemented your solution
