Complaints & Issue Resolution

Enactus UK provide a free of charge opportunity for participation in the Enactus UK programme to university students and Higher Education Institutions and as such holds no service obligations to either parties. Our terms and conditions of engagement with students, student unions, societies/teams (Enactus university teams) and university staff are defined and bound by the ‘Collaboration Agreement’ with that university, student union and society as well as the Enactus Team Handbook with which every registered Enactus university team member (student) must act in accordance.

Any issues and conflicts arising within and among Enactus university team members must first be resolved by following appropriate student union or Guild rules and bylaws for conflict resolution amongst student societies. Enactus UK will only intervene on the basis that all attempts have been made to resolve an issue which puts the sustainability of the Enactus university team at risk. In this case the request for support would be made to Enactus UK by the Enactus university team president/team leader and the registered University Advisers. It is up to the Enactus UK team to decide whether or not they are able to support.

Please find a generic Collaboration Agreement here.

Please find a typical annual Team Handbook here.

If a registered Enactus student has a complaint in relation to the Enactus UK National Competition held in April each year, then the procedure as outlined in the Team Handbook must be followed.

Please find a copy of our Safeguarding Policy here.

In the event of a registered student or registered university adviser wishing to make a formal complaint against a member of Enactus UK staff then please follow the formal complaint procedure.

Please find a copy of the Formal Complaint Procedure here.

It is important that any fraud, misconduct, or wrongdoing by Enactus UK staff or others working on behalf of the charity is reported and properly dealt with. Enactus UK therefore requires staff members to raise any concerns that they may have about the conduct of others in the charity (or Trading Subsidiaries) or the way in which the organisation is run. This policy sets out the way in which individual staff members may raise any concerns that they have and how those concerns will be dealt with.
